Looking at Abu Dhabi Real Estate 2011 and Beyond
This week some of the people who follow real estate in Abu Dhabi got together for breakfast and conversation to talk about what’s going on and where it’s going as the end of the year approaches. At a Cityscape Connect Business Breakfast at the Rotana Hotel on Yas Island, about 60 people interacted with a panel of experts from a property services organization, a master developer, and a law firm.

Bags are sifted and shorn of unnecessary ingredients: I have apparently spent the winter carrying around all manner of useful stuff, including a boarding card stub from Abu Dhabi, a printed copy of the 2009 Brazilian GP results, assorted taxi receipts and 17 ballpoint pens, most of which were assumed lost before they materialised in my computer backpack’s lower recesses.

The experts have been heaping advance praise on the exclusive layout of the Yas Marina Circuit around the city harbour.
Thrills and spills
In the second half of this year Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will open on Yas Island. Of the 20 rides at the amusement park, the most exciting will be the GT roller coaster. In a twist on the traditional roller coaster, two carriages will race along twisting parallel tracks to the finish line. Each is a replica of a Ferrari F430 Spider.
