F1 changes will make race ‘more exciting’
Yas Marina Circuit will be modified in the summer to improve overtaking opportunities and make for a more exciting Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The chief executive of Abu Dhabi Motorsport Management, Richard Cregan, said yesterday the combination of new technical car and tyre rules along with changes to some of the turns at the track would allow for more manoeuvrability.
Yas Links the best of the best
Yas Links. Within earshot of Yas Marina Formula One Circuit (its one detracting feature on race days) its penal rough to catch wayward drives from a variety of tee boxes provides a demanding test for golfers of all abilities and offers stunning coastal views from many of its holes.

Also, with the Abu Dhabi festival coming up, they have set up the stage to woo you too.
Tony Hawk, V8 races and Eric Clapton to thrill crowds
A weekend of Real Action Heroes on Yas Island will begin and end with Tony Hawk. Hawk, the first skateboarder to complete a full 900-degree manoeuvre in competition, will perform at 3.45 pm today and 8.30pm tomorrow on a half-pipe that was imported from the US.
New tires in Formula One just one of the changes for the new year
First, the test took place at the Yas Marina F1 Circuit in Abu Dhabi. If there is a finer racetrack anywhere in the world, I have yet to see it. The facilities are first-rate, with spacious garages, opulent suites and enough lights around the track to make a good stab at simulating daylight.
