The pop icon kicked off another season of Yas Island Show Weekends, organised by FLASH Entertainment, bringing what has been hailed worldwide as her largest-ever tour.
IKEA sees bright future
IKEA UAE, which operates two outlets in Dubai Festival City and Yas Island, may have another flagship store in Dubai to cater the demands of southern part of the emirate. The new store will be equal to the size of Yas Island outlet and is expected to open by the end of 2013.
Walkathon for leukemia patients
Dr Hanif Hassan, Minister of Health, will open the walkathon to support children with leukemia cancer here on May 14. The blood donation buses will be available in front of Gate 4 of Yas Island in Abu Dhabi

City of Islands & fauna

The much anticipated Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, the world’s largest indoor and the first Ferrari theme park, finally opens its doors to the public today.
With 20 rides and attractions assembled over 2,500 hectare of amusement facilities at Yas Island, the park promises to be an intense multi-sensory experience for children and adults alike.
